表千家の茶道の先生より譲り受けた一幅です。
「春は千林に入り、処々に鶯（うぐいす）」——春の訪れを詩的に表した一句で、自然の息吹と鶯のさえずりが響く風情ある作品です。
書は、西部文浄（にしべ ぶんじょう）によるもの。
上品で流麗な筆致が、句の趣をより一層引き立てています。
春の床の間や茶室、和の空間にふさわしい掛け軸です。
